Guests Will Enjoy Live Performances and Gourmet Cuisine with Unlimited Access to CityWalk Clubs and Restaurants
WHAT:
The hottest countdown to 2009 begins at Universal CityWalk with a live, main stage performance from legendary American rock and roll band, The Doobie Brothers. With multiple Grammy awards and more than 50 million records sold worldwide, the Doobie Brothers will bring their “rock ‘n’ soul” edge to Universal CityWalk’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration this year. The group’s hit songs range from the bluesy rock of “Long Train Runnin’” to the country-tinged sound of “Black Water.”
In addition, there will be live entertainment in every CityWalk venue, including Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, CityWalk’s Rising Star, Pat O’Brien’s and Red Coconut Club. Outside, DJs and Orlando’s premier street party on the CityWalk promenade will keep the party rockin’ all night as the clock to 2009 counts down. Guests will enjoy unlimited gourmet food including filet mignon, jumbo shrimp, desserts and more throughout the event. At midnight, guests will celebrate the arrival of 2009 with party favors, confetti bursts and a champagne toast.
