They will also experience two modern day blockbuster horror franchises as Universal Orlando devotes its entire Halloween Horror Nights event to bringing horror films to life.

Universal Orlando is partnering with Universal Pictures to bring one of the year's most highly anticipated films, "The Wolfman," to life so guests can experience it firsthand before it hits theaters on November 6. It is also partnering with Lionsgate® and Twisted Pictures to bring the most profitable horror franchise, "SAW," to Halloween Horror Nights 19: Ripped From the Silver Screen. Lionsgate is expected to release the sixth installment of the powerhouse franchise in theatres nationwide on October 23rd in its traditional opening weekend slot leading into Halloween; the "Chucky" films have become a favorite among horror film and pop culture enthusiasts.

Never before has Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights featured such a catalog of horror. Everyone knows these films. And now everyone will get to live them in person. Guests will experience the physical and psychological horror that Jigsaw, Chucky and The Wolfman have inflicted on the silver screen. They will become victim to the mental games of "SAW's" maniacal killer Jigsaw. They will come face to face with "Chucky's" wrath. Guests Will Live Blockbuster Horror Films In-Person As They Are "Ripped from the Silver Screen"

Lights, Camera, Hacktion!!! - Hollywood Boulevard is being used as a location for the filming of the next big horror movie to be released in October 2010: The CHAINSAW DRILL TEAM MASSACRE in 3-D. Lights, Camera, Hacktion! Our director, Mas Imair, noted horror film aficionado, is bringing the massacre to life in blood-red terrorcolor. But the actors seem to be taking their direction literally and are "hacking" through the cast and crew. It's a close encounter of the worst kind as the backlot becomes a hacklot and the streets run red with blood. Are you ready for your close-up?

Cirque Du Freak - Inspired by Universal Pictures' upcoming film "Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant," which tells the fantasy-adventure tale of a boy who unknowingly breaks a 200-year-old truce between two warring factions of vampires. Pulled into a fantastic life of misunderstood sideshow freaks and grotesque creatures of the night, one teen will vanish from the safety of a boring existence and fulfill his destiny in a place drawn from nightmares. Horrorwood Die-In - The Hollywood Drive-in has been closed for years, and some say the abandoned grounds are haunted, where late at night the dim flickering images of carnage and chaos, monsters and madmen leave the screen and enter the real world looking for fresh victims to star in their latest horrors.

Apocalypse: City of Cannibals - A whole civilization of war-like carnivorous humanoids emerges from the sewers and underground tunnels of New York, looking for fresh food. Half-humanoid, half-beast and ravenous, these tribal cannibals invade the streets of Manhattan. No one is safe!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show: A Tribute - Mad scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Rocky Horror and other famous Rocky Horror Picture Show characters return, bringing the musical mayhem of the classic horror spoof to life on-screen and on-stage with live performers singing and dancing in outrageous costumes.  The tribute will be interactive with audience participation and on-stage guest involvement.

Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango, stars of the hit SyFy Channel series, "Ghost Hunters," will be at Halloween Horror Nights to experience the nation's premier Halloween event and sign autographs for guests at Universal Studios on Thursday, October 8.

Gonsalves and Tango are both members of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) and star in the reality show that follows the group of real-life paranormal researchers as they investigate hauntings across the nation. Both will sign autographs for fans at Halloween Horror Nights in Battery Park in the New York area of Universal Studios, as well as experience the event first-hand.
