Mardi Gras at Universal Studios ~ Saturday nights from February 2 – April 19, 2008
On Saturday nights in February, March and April, Universal Studios Florida celebrates the spirit of New Orleans with the annual Mardi Gras celebration. Universal Orlando showcases bands and artists directly from New Orleans each night of the event. Guests will be ready to catch some beads with Universal’s Mardi Gras parade, featuring hundreds of costumed characters, stilt walkers, and festively decorated floats. The celebration also includes authentic New Orleans cooking and Mardi Gras style drinks.

Grad Bash at Universal Orlando ~ April 25 & 26, 2008
Universal Orlando Resort offers High School seniors a chance to celebrate their upcoming graduation at Grad Bash – located in both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure theme parks. The nightly celebration is a great opportunity for students to get together with their friends and experience the rides and attractions at both theme parks, as well as entertainment that includes karaoke, street performers and today’s hottest musical talent.

Rock The Universe at Universal Studios ~ September 5 & 6, 2008
Chart-topping Christian music stars from across the nation highlight the annual Rock the Universe concert event at Universal Studios in the fall. This two-day concert series boasts the genre’s most popular musical acts and is designed to highlight the diversity within today’s exploding Christian music scene.

Halloween Horror Nights 18 at Universal Studios ~ September – November 2008
Universal Orlando presents one of the world’s most elaborate Halloween celebrations with Halloween Horror Nights 18. Universal’s “scream team” researches the human psyche and its deepest fears so that Halloween Horror Nights’ guests can confront their most terrifying nightmares. There are specially designed haunted houses, inescapable scare zones, and hundreds of street performers.  This fright-fest invades Universal Orlando on select nights throughout the month of October.

Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort ~ December 7, 2007 – January 1, 2008
Celebrate the holidays at Universal Orlando as the resorts two theme parks, on-site hotels, and CityWalk transform into a seasonal spectacular featuring special holiday-themed entertainment, decorations, food, and much more!

New Year’s Eve at Universal CityWalk ~ December 31, 2007
CityWalk, a 30-acre entertainment complex with themed restaurants, nightclubs and shops, will host one of Orlando’s hottest New Year’s Eve parties. The evening will feature live performances by national acts, an expansive gourmet buffet, a champagne toast and live entertainment at its nightclubs, including the groove, an electrifying dance club, CityJazz, a hip jazz venue, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, and others.
