Michelle McKenna Appointed Chief Information Officer for Universal Orlando Resort
Orlando, Fla. – July 2, 2007 - Michelle McKenna has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Universal Orlando Resort, the company announced today.

At Centex, McKenna was responsible for managing customer databases, introducing customer relationship management into the marketing and sales process, and leading a senior executive team to develop technological support systems for marketing, sales and resort operations. She also implemented the company’s resort property management and reservations systems. Prior to CDP, Ms. McKenna spent thirteen years at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts in a variety of leadership positions in finance and technology.
“Michelle’s vast experience makes her the right person to lead our Information Services team into the future,” said Bill Davis, president of Universal Orlando Resort. “We look forward to her contribution.”
McKenna has a master’s degree in business administration from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and an undergraduate degree in accounting from Auburn University.
